Pulsant is an established and market leading provider of IT cloud, colocation and infrastructure services with c 400 staff around the UK. We are seeking an experienced IT Client Account Manager to be based in the South East.

 

Using your experience in maximising revenues from existing customers in the areas of colocation, hosting, cloud or managed services - you will be responsible for identifying and closing business opportunities from an assigned base of existing customers within an assigned and named geography and/or set of industry verticals - managing existing accounts and/or new business as per their assigned remit.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Build, maintain, develop and manage client relationships with existing and/or new customers.

 

  • Promote the strategy of Pulsant and create pipeline for new Pulsant propositions into current accounts.

 

  • Design and implement sales strategies to generate net incremental revenue to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly and annual sales quota.

 

  • Manage the quality of overall deliverables throughout the whole sales process including peer review of other’s output.

 

  • Work closely with Solutions Architects to perform presales feasibility assessments of how well Pulsant solutions meet the customer requirements and what customisation would be required.

 

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven commercial experience as a Client Manager or new business sales solutions selling environment within the IT / Technology sector. 
  • Proven experience of strategic selling at Technical or CXO Level.
  • Strong B2B full life cycle solutions sales experience.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft packages, in particular Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Extensive experience of operating in virtual team environments.

Desirable

  • Demonstrate experience of being able to manage complex sales requests, and/or dealing with high value deals (£100K + per year), across other UK and international locations with the ability to understand cultural differences.
