The Channel Account Director is responsible for identifying opportunities to strengthen Pulsant’s partner offerings and increase revenues by building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners as well as identifying and recruiting new partners. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Responsible for generating new partner relationships as well as managing and expanding existing partner accounts.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partners’ needs on an ongoing basis, reports needs back to Director of Channel Sales and builds plan of how to address needs.
  • Enlists the support of marketing, solution architects, implementation resources, service resources and other sales and management resources as required subject to partner requirements.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.                       
  • Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.
  • Performs routine tasks within well-defined guidelines and non-routine tasks requiring initiative and a high level of planning, scope for initiative.
  • Ensure accurate and timely update of Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience recruiting and managing partners within a managed hosting and/or cloud services organisation.
  • Proven track record versus financial targets
  • Extensive experience of operating in virtual team environments.
  • Internet and business savvy.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Broad, relevant knowledge of technology.
  • Excellent understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate these into project deliverables
  • Existing relationships within UK IT channel partners including but not limited to MSP’s, Service Providers and/or Resellers.

Desirable:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Certification of sales techniques for example Miller Heiman, SPIN, TAS etc.
