The Lead Customer Engineer is responsible for proactive maintenance, design input and delivery, support and problem management of infrastructure and application solutions to select clients.

 

You will work alongside Service Management, Support Operations, Solutions Architects and Project Management to maintain those clients IT infrastructures throughout solution lifecycle and ensuring continuous service improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and review high quality, effective infrastructure solutions within Pulsant’s product solutions offering
  • Assist and advise customers, service delivery and solutions architects, providing subject matter expertise at each stage of design, deployment and support process
  • Assist in developing and maintaining customer documentation
  • Carry out infrastructure audits for customers providing insight and recommendations as to health, deployment standards and best practice.
  • To troubleshoot complex server or network related technical issues which have been escalated from other areas of the business

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working in a Windows Server environment
  • Experience of Active Directory deployments, configuration, troubleshooting and migration
  • Experience of Exchange/Office 365 deployments, configuration, troubleshooting and email migration
  • Experience of VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure configuration, troubleshooting and administration
  • Familiar with ITIL, project management frameworks and network industry best practices.
  • Working knowledge of incident, problem, change management
  • Good understanding of current key trends in IT (Virtualisation / Hybrid Cloud / Public Cloud)
  • In-depth knowledge of networking infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and core Microsoft business applications including Exchange Server, SQL Server
